Place of Food Review: Tokyo Connection
Written @ 12:17 AM
Tokyo Connetion.
Located in: Bandung, Ciwalk and Progo Street.

Another restaurant which is serving Japanese food. I often came here lately, because the place is cozy and the food is delicious also.

The first time I went here, is with Marwa and Icha. That time we were confused of where to eat, but since we felt like we wanted to eat ramen, the choice was made. So there we are, at Tokyo Connection in Progo Street.

Since I just had the photo of the one in Progo Street, so I'll just describe the one in Progo ._.

The floor is a wooden floor, and there are table with sofa and non-sofa chair. On each table there is one candle, bottle of sauce, and some spices. The atmosphere is really cozy, with vague lightning for inner part of the restaurant.

The table which is located near the window. (The one in Progo Street).

The outer part of the restaurant. (The one in Progo Street).

There are two part of the restaurant. The inner part and the outer part. The outer part is a smoking area, and the inner part is non-smoking area.

So here's the food part.
As I said before, the food which is served here are Japanese food. So you can find sushi, ramen, curry, udon, and teriyaki here. For the dessert and drink, of course there is matcha (ice cream & drink), ice cream, pancakes, cakes, mojito, juice, coffe, and many more.

I often came here, so I've tried a lot variety of food served here.

Chicken Katsu Curry.

 Original Beef Teriyaki.

 Donburi.

I really loved the chicken katsu curry, since the taste of the curry is so delicious. :9 It really suits a curry I loved. With a thick broth and spicy taste. ♥ Recommended for curry lovers!

As for the beef teriyaki, I didn't like it too much. It's delicious, but the meat contain a lot of fat... or something like that. Not really recommended.

For the Donburi, it tastes delicious, and taste like a donburi would taste. For conclusion, it's... normal ._.

Here's the dessert and drink part.
As a matcha lover, I definitely would bought matcha ice cream, and hot matcha latte for the drink.

Matcha Ice Cream!♥♥

Hot matcha latte~

Like I said before, beside matcha you can also found juice, coffe, or mojito here. Mojito is a soda mixed with some mint leaf, lemon, and fruit you picked for the taste. The cute thing about mojito is that, this mojito is served in a jar, not a glass. :))

Actually you can found cakes too, here. Like tiramisu or red velvet... but since I've never bought it or tasted it before, I can't say anything about it ._.

.
.
The price here not really expensive for a high schooler.
Here's the price list:

Price List:
- Chicken Katsu Curry: Rp35.000,00
- Original Beef Teriyaki: Rp35.000,00 (If I'm not mistaken).
- Donburi: variety, around Rp20.000,00 - Rp30.000,00
Drinks:
- Juice: Rp18.000,00 and above.
- Matcha Latte: Rp20.000,00
- Mojito: Rp.25.000,00 and above (if I'm not mistaken...)

So this is my review for Tokyo Connection. Worth 4.5/5 stars! ;)
